I love that- their 'black swan' was 'this land'. How off the cuff their entrepreneurial style was-having the sense to open a Yahoo store to sell the DVD the morning of the Today Show interview. Looking at American Greetings 10-k form to discover that the e-card business was worth $80,000,000 a year! Great insights into the mindset of creative business people. Didn't want 'grown-up people's jobs'. Their Black Swan came in and they were clever enough to parlay that into big success. Thanks for posting the recap. Great stuff!
